Well folks, my husband has done it again. He has made my day by being an amazing husband.
My day was going okay until about 10:30 pm. I was driving home from my parents house and a crazy cop almost pulled out in front of me. She has to slam on her breaks as I drove by. She then pulled out behind me and followed me for a while before turning on her lights and and pulling me over. She then lied through her teeth and claimed that I was going 12 over the speed limit. I knew that she had been behind me the whole time so I was extra careful not to go over the speed limit. I was in the middle of assuring her that my speedometer said I was going the speed limit when she cut me off, grabbed my license, and said over her shoulder, “Well, you better get that checked.” She was totally rude and needed an attitude adjustment. She ended up just giving me a warning (she knew she had no grounds for giving me a ticket) but I was freaking out to say the least. During the ordeal I had called Scott, practically in tears, and told him what was going on.
When I got home my husband was waiting for me with a bag of donuts to cheer me up. He had made a special trip to the store just to make me feel better. He was hoping to make me smile and it worked.

that is insane! anyone with any sense would not go that fast with a cop behind them. and if your speedometer was that far off you would know it. at least you didn’t get a ticket!

Lol, ya she’s been craving cake lately and every time Scott has gotten you donuts she’s given me a pouty face. She has been really working hard this week on her summer masters classes so I figured she deserved it! We got a full cake but I’m going to take the rest into work so we don’t eat it all.
