I have to admit that I am a little nervous because I have never done this kind of thing before. When I told my husband that I am going to start blogging his reply was, “Is this a joke?” Despite the lack of confidence from my husband, he has actually been my inspiration for starting. All joking aside, he is proud of me for doing this and I like to make him proud.
Scott and I had a total Graceville moment today. Sadly, we took our Christmas tree down this morning. After the ordeal of undecorating and hauling it down the stairs out the front door we were stumped as how to dispose of it. Scott suggested taking it down the street to an empty lot. Not having a truck, we opened the back hatch to my SUV and Scott sat in the back, legs dangling, and dragged the tree behind the car while I drove.
We had to drive on a main road for a little ways while cars piled up behind us. Thank goodness that they were laughing at us rather than getting mad that we were going at least 20 MPH under the speed limit. We felt like such white trash, especially since I was driving in my bathrobe, socks, and unbrushed hair. I bet we were quite a sight….ode to Graceville.

LOL!!! That was hilarious! Those old ladies behind us were about to bust a hearing-aid they were laughing so hard. Who says you can’t learn anything while living in Graceville.

That is hilarious, and I agree w/ Liz/Kyle, you really should have had pictures! I seriously cannot believe you were driving down the road in your bathrobe and no shoes….what would your mother say?
